Hi, I'm Rhea.

The heart and soul behind Karma Management. So, how did I end up in the wild world of business ownership? Well, that's a story in itself—totally accidental over 20 years ago, never planned. Life has a funny way of leading us down unexpected paths, right?

I thrive on adventure and new experiences. Whether it's exploring uncharted territories, meeting fascinating new faces, or immersing myself in the world of arts and artisans, count me in! Kayaking, hiking, and my ongoing quest to master meditation keep my life balanced amidst the hustle.

You can call me a bit of a conference nerd too. Staying in the loop with solutions in design, sustainability, technology, and affordable housing is my way of keeping things fresh and exciting.

And it's not all about work – far from it! I'm grateful for time with my amazing girls, and I'm all about community, people, and experiencing nature.

What sets Karma Management apart for me is the chance to make a real impact on people's lives. I love taking someone with zero experience, being their mentor through career moves, helping them achieve their goals, and helping them find their place in the business world.

If you're up for some good vibes, a bit of business wisdom, giving back to the community, and a touch of randomness, you're in the right place.

Hello, I'm Sarah.

I serve as Creative Director at Karma Management, where I lead brand development and graphic design efforts for AIA Birmingham, the Alabama Center for Architecture, and the Structural Engineers Association of Alabama. Having worked with Karma for several years prior to relocating to Chicago, my role has grown alongside these organizations, deepening my understanding of their missions and audiences. My work is centered on strengthening visibility and deepening member engagement, shaping mission-driven approaches that resonate across platforms.

I’m a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where I studied Public Relations, and I bring that foundation into my marketing approach that is both strategic and creative, grounded in clarity and intention. This experience guides my social media strategy and the development of visual and written content to support programming and expand public outreach.

Through this work, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for how professional organizations communicate and evolve, and I enjoy helping them connect more meaningfully with their audiences while advancing their role within the built environment. I also serve as Marketing Coordinator at Nurture, where I support the firm’s brand, proposal and photography coordination, and storytelling within an architectural studio.

Outside of work, you can usually find me flipping through vinyl, chefing it up in a kitchen, soaking up the sun by the lake, or exploring neighborhoods and architecture around Chicago! My continued work with Karma remains a meaningful part of my professional growth, shaping the way I lead, create, and contribute as I build a career at the nexus of design, storytelling, and community.

Hey there! I'm Ali.

I graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a bachelor's degree in public relations with additional experience in broadcasting. I have hands-on experience in public relations, including co-founding a student-run PR firm where I helped develop and execute a full-year campaign for a client. With a background in broadcasting, I also contributed to scriptwriting and production for a game show pilot, focusing on editing and audio. Additionally, I produced a news package for a live collaborative class production.

I’ve gained years of customer service and hospitality experience across various roles, including serving, hostess, lifeguarding, and training new employees.  I then moved to the world of public relations and event planning where I worked with a workforce development high school and a public relations agency.

I have a passion for exploring new places—whether it’s a cross-country road trip with spontaneous stops along the way or a relaxing weekend at the beach. Being a music enthusiast, I make it a priority to attend concerts and festivals whenever I can. And of course, I value spending time with my younger sister as much as I can!

I’m so excited to begin this new chapter as Account Executive for Karma Management and learn everything I can in this role! Can’t wait to use my experience to contribute to and grow with Karma!
